Cilia Klinger is a photojournalist and documentary photographer who was born in 1998 in Frankfurt, Germany. She is currently studying Visual Journalism and Documentary Photography at Hochschule Hannover. Cilia has worked on several projects across Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East, demonstrating a strong interest in human rights, as well as socially and politically critical issues.
Through her previous stays abroad, she has been able to gather many experiences about culture, history, and religion. Moreover, she has witnessed firsthand the despair, fears, and anger felt by individuals who have endured the consequences of wars, discrimination, displacement, and violence.
